Senator Kirsten Gillibrand publicly acknowledged the newly available FY2025 report on 21 July. Its information cutoff is 30 May 2025. The report records 319 newly received reports, resolves 114 of those and another 256 from earlier reporting periods.

The report is available in a Black Vault mirror. It describes a Navy maritime report off Virginia involving about 100 airborne objects and two likely uncrewed surface systems, while leaving the case for further analysis.
