Witness account
Security guard Yalçın Yalman recorded a series of distant night-time forms above or toward the Sea of Marmara. Promoters interpreted bright curved structures as craft and enlarged details as occupants. The material is frequently grouped as a single case spanning 2007–2009, although individual recordings, timestamps and claims need separate treatment. Enlarging ambiguous pixels does not independently establish humanoid bodies.
Public record
Video copies and a purported English translation of a TÜBİTAK-related examination circulate on advocacy sites. The translated text says location, distance, size and object identity could not be determined. Its stated January 31, 2008 submission date conflicts with wording claiming to cover recordings from 2009, making version provenance important.
