Witness account

Navy aviators operating with USS Nimitz were directed toward an unusual contact and reported a white, elongated object above disturbed water. David Fravor's later account describes rapid manoeuvring and disappearance; a radar operator reportedly advised that a contact had reappeared near a prearranged rendezvous point. Alex Dietrich was in the second aircraft. The widely circulated FLIR recording came from a later intercept, so it should not be presented as footage of every movement Fravor described.

Public record

The public evidence includes named witness accounts, a short Navy infrared recording and later sworn testimony. The precise November 14 date is documented in retrospective reporting. A complete publicly available raw radar record, with calibration and synchronized sensor data, was not located for independent reconstruction.
