Witness account
Steven Greer's Disclosure Project convened a National Press Club event featuring more than twenty people presented as military, intelligence, government or corporate witnesses. Participants described alleged encounters, secrecy and other UFO-related experiences, and called for public congressional investigation. The event helped establish a format later used repeatedly in disclosure advocacy: bringing credentialed witnesses together to argue that government knowledge exceeds what has been released publicly.
Public record
The surviving event recording, advance announcement and witness materials are primary evidence of who spoke and what claims were made. They are not a congressional hearing record, and participants' statements concern separate episodes with different dates, firsthand access and levels of supporting documentation.
