Witness account
Police and dispatch personnel discussed unusual lights around Trumbull County during the night of 13–14 December 1994. The episode later became known through recordings obtained and examined by investigator Kenny Young. Some accounts include a close encounter and vehicle interference, while officers’ descriptions and the dispatch discussion varied.
Public record
Young’s 1 June 1998 report explains that a less specific account reached him in 1996 and that the date was initially uncertain. Dispatch personnel subsequently located recordings of relevant exchanges. These document real-time discussion and some officers’ reports, but they are not an independent radar track or an image of a craft.
