Ariel School: reported close encounter, not an original abduction claim
Ariel School, near Ruwa, outside Harare

Witness account
During morning recess on 16 September 1994, a group of Ariel School pupils said they saw unusual objects and figures beyond the playing area. Approximately sixty children became associated with the report. Their teachers were in a meeting, and the children’s descriptions were subsequently collected through drawings, interviews and media coverage.
Public record
Cynthia Hind investigated in the following days; John Mack and Dominique Callimanopulos interviewed children later that year. Callimanopulos’s 1995 first-person article says they interviewed twelve children over two days, an important distinction from claims that every pupil supplied an independent identical account. Surviving interviews document what children said, not a filmed landing or independently examined craft.
