Peter Khoury and the Hair of the Alien claim

Witness account
Peter Khoury reported encounters in July 1988 and, in a distinct episode assigned to 23 July 1992, two unusual women appearing in his bedroom. He said he retained hair after the latter experience. Investigator Bill Chalker later arranged analysis and developed the case in articles and the 2005 book Hair of the Alien.
Public record
The retained specimen and reported mitochondrial-DNA findings are central to the evidentiary claim, but collection was not independently observed and the sample remained in witness custody before investigation. The reported genetic variations were interpreted by comparison with human sequences. The book’s alien framing is an interpretation of those results, not a laboratory identification of extraterrestrial material.
