Llanca said three figures confronted him while he changed a truck tire near Bahía Blanca. His account included a procedure involving his hand, lost awareness and later descriptions of a craft's interior.

Zerpa investigated the 1973 claim. Roncoroni's 1983 critique drew on later interviews and attributed the supposed supporting power anomaly to an ordinary short circuit and overload.
