Betty Andreasson: a 1967 date reconstructed in a 1977 investigation

Witness account

Andreasson assigned a home encounter to January 1967, describing visitors, an immobilized family and an examination followed by visionary experiences. The familiar narrative emerged largely through regression a decade later.

Public record

Fowler's retrospective dates her letter to Hynek to 1975, investigation to January 1977, and fourteen regressions across the inquiry. The first book appeared in 1979.
