Witness account

Flynn said he approached an unusual object in the Everglades, initially taking it to be a malfunctioning experimental vehicle associated with Cape Canaveral. His account included incapacitation and subsequent visual and neurological symptoms. This belongs among early physical-effects encounter claims, rather than being silently converted into a medical-examination abduction story.

Public record

In his 1968 congressional statement, atmospheric physicist James McDonald said he had spoken with Flynn and acquaintances. He cited approximately a week in hospital, hemorrhage in one eye, and temporarily absent deep-tendon reflexes, referring to a physician statement published by APRO. His testimony establishes a traceable investigative source, although the underlying complete clinical file was not retrieved here.
