The Kelly–Hopkinsville encounter

Witness account

Members and visitors of a rural household reported small, large-eyed figures around the house after Taylor said he had seen an unusual aerial object. Some men fired guns at the apparent figures, and the group eventually went to police. Officers investigated the property but did not find an alien creature or a landed spacecraft.
