Witness account

After children saw a bright object crossing the evening sky, a group went up a nearby hill. They described a frightening figure with bright eyes and a pointed or hood-like upper outline, together with an unpleasant smell. The group retreated, and reports of marks and disturbed vegetation helped turn the incident into a supposed landing narrative.

Public record

Witness accounts, local reporting and later interviews establish that an alarming encounter was reported. They do not demonstrate that the bright aerial object landed at the search location or that a nonhuman creature was present.
