Delbert Newhouse films a group of bright objects
North of Tremonton, Utah
Witness account
Traveling with his wife and children, Navy photographer Delbert Newhouse filmed bright points moving in a loose group. One appeared to separate and move in another direction. His early account said he could not estimate distance, altitude, speed or size because the sky offered no reference point.
Public record
The 16 mm film, August submission and subsequent interviews survive in the investigation record. More specific claims that the objects looked metallic and like paired saucers are documented in later interviews, rather than in the earliest statement available to the Condon investigator.
