Witness account

The Trents reported a metallic-looking disc over their farm, and Paul took two photographs. The pictures became nationally famous after local publication. They show a distinct object in a rural scene, but neither its distance nor physical size can be read directly from the images.

Public record

Two negatives, witness accounts and subsequent site analysis provide more material than a purely verbal report. William Hartmann examined the case for the Colorado project.
